First Recorded Christian Bumper Sticker Mind change

Church Life

The Salty Cee’s 10-year investigation of the effectiveness of Christian Bumper Stickers has found its first documented case of someone changing their mind.

Martha Jones, who is a member of Old Paths Baptist Church has been placing bumper stickers on her 1987 Plymouth Voyager since she bought it in 1999.  She began with a simple, “in case of rapture, this car will be unmanned.”  Then she began adding “You think it’s hot out here,” and the powerful “I’m Christian and I vote.”

Martha said she now has over 121 bumper stickers.  She wondered if they were making a difference but was pleasantly surprised when a former SMU fan told her that she changed her anger towards her husband who was a Baylor fan after seeing Martha’s “House Divided, SMU/Baylor” sticker on her passenger side window.

“What began as a seed of faith, has now begun to bear fruit. If I can change one person’s mind, it is worth it.”  Martha said.

Martha said her she just purchased a KJV 1611 window cling for her front windshield.  The Salty Cee will be following this story and will keep you informed.
