Brett Kavanaugh in Comic Con Mix-up

News

There was a confusing mix-up over the Brett Kavanaugh hearing for his nomination to the Supreme Court and his appearance at a local comic-con event later on.

Comic-con fans dressed in a variety of costumes, including the handmaid’s tale, mistakenly attended the Supreme Court hearing and were so disappointed that they began to disrupt the proceedings.  Others were so confused that they began their role-playing shouting out “This is a mockery and a travesty of justice,” which also caused the hearing to descend into chaos.

Later, Brett Kavanaugh attended the local comic con event dressed as Judge Dredd.  When asked about his choice of costume he replied, “It was a difficult choice.  Half the country wanted me to dress as a super villain and the other half as a superhero.  So I felt that the Judge Dredd outfit was the perfect compromise that fully expresses both of these views.”
