Facebook adds new “My Life Sucks” button to reflect the reality of its users.
MENLO PARK, CA—Up and coming social media company known as Facebook has launched a new campaign in order to be more authentic and in touch with its users.
After 14 years of enabling the world population to pretend that their lives are perfect, CEO and co-founder Mark Zuckerberg thinks the idea is pretty rad. In light of recent events, he could definitely benefit from Facebook’s newest feature the “My Life Sucks” button.
Our best estimates fall somewhere in the ballpark of 87% of users who refrain from posting boring content such as doing laundry, mowing the lawn, and cooking supper in their studio apartment.
Instead, stock images have been used to portray a life that belongs to someone else—most likely a Hollywood millionaire. The new button will help people stop living in denial and start embracing their ordinary, crappy life.
