Jeff Bezos divorcing wife for Alexa

Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezos and his wife, MacKenzie, announced they are getting a divorce after 25 years of marriage. 

The joint statement implies that it is an amicable split but rumours reached us here at the Cee that the divorce was due to Jeff’s obsession with Alexa.

Our source stated that, “Jeff had been gradually spending more and more time with Alexa in deep conversation that it was only to be expected that she would become between him and MacKenzie.”

Apparently things came to a head when MacKenzie asked what Alexa could give him that she couldn’t.  She stormed out the room in tears after only 10 minutes of Jeff’s reply.

Apparently the divorce papers were served by drone with Prime’s next day delivery.

Jeff Bezos is hoping that Amazon’s excellent returns policy will make this divorce as painless as possible. 

Meanwhile MacKenzie looks forward to becoming the world’s richest woman and has already received a future husband purchase recommendation email from Amazon “Customers who viewed Jeff Bezos also viewed…”
