Bible scholars claim that Jesus can resolve the Mexico border wall deadlock, but the President isn’t happy.
During a Nashville rally on Tuesday, President Donald Trump stated again that Mexico will pay for the border wall:
“In the end, Mexico is going to pay for the wall,” the President stated, “They do absolutely nothing” to stop people entering the U.S. illegally.
However, there was a swift response from Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto on Twitter saying his country will “never pay for a wall. Not now, not ever.”
President @realDonaldTrump: NO. Mexico will NEVER pay for a wall. Not now, not ever.
Sincerely, Mexico (all of us).

However, Biblical scholars have brought both hope and frustration to this deadlock.
On one hand they claim that “Jesus has paid it all” (Gal 3:13a) can be expanded to include the costs of the Mexico border wall which will please Trump’s supporters.
On the other hand Jesus also has “broken down…the dividing wall of hostility” (Eph 2:14) which infers that He will then destroy the wall.
