The Salty Cee responds to its second spam email…
We at the Cee have been disappointed that it’s been so long since our last spam email.
I mean what are we doing wrong? Is our contact form just too hard to find? Do we not say that we are desperate for ideas for articles?
So it was with great delight that we received this email from Noreen Holiday.
Well, thank you random stranger for popping past and letting us know about this great offer.
I mean, how kind is that? Instead of just keeping this good news about
But wait a minute.
What if there’s a catch? We should ask a few questions first…
Sadly Noreen was so busy telling other select websites about this amazing offer that she didn’t have time to back to us.
So we went to the website and made use of their contact form:
We told them about Noreen’s kind email and asked again why they were banned by Ray.
When they didn’t get back to us within the promised 24 hours we became suspicious.
Clearly, we had stumbled onto an underground website selling banned sunglasses.
Noreen must have mistakenly thought we were some shady website, instead of upstanding Christians that we are.
We contacted the Feds but because we’re a satirical website they didn’t take us seriously.
Even when we pointed out that, at the moment, there’s not much difference between satire and the actual news they refused to listen.
At least we know our discerning readers will take action to stop the tide of illegal sunglasses flooding this country. And for that, we thank you.
